Orders will be delivered/shipped within 24 – 48 hours (depending on our existing orders).  Orders during the holidays may require extra time.

How to Select  Multiple Addresses

The multiple address feature will be presented at the checkout process  via a banner at the top of the page.  Please select the blue box “Set Addresses”.  Next, add each new address and save.   Then select one of your saved addresses for each basket from the drop down menu. Proceed by clicking the “save addresses box and continue”. You will now continue the check-out process.

Delivery & Shipping Policies

• Please supply complete recipient address information and phone number if available.  We will not call your gift recipient unless it is required to complete delivery.  Deliveries can not be made to P.O. boxes. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

• Please supply your own daytime and evening phone numbers in case a question arises concerning your order.

• Redelivery charges will apply to orders requiring reshipment due to incorrect delivery information.  Delivery services will not forward to another address. Be sure to give us your complete shipping address. If the shipping carrier determines they need an “Address Correction” in order to deliver your package, you will be charged a $10.00 “Address Correction” fee. When a shipping carrier needs to do an address correction, they charge us, the shipper, a $10.00 Address Correction fee per incident. To avoid this charge, PLEASE be sure to give us your complete billing address information, including Suite, Apartment, Floor, etc

• Gift Cards with your personal message are included with all purchases.

• We make every effort to be sure all information on our web site is complete and accurate.  If an error does occur, we reserve the right to make all necessary corrections.

• Based on season and availability, we reserve the right to make substitutions using items of comparable or greater value.

Return Policy

We take great care in packaging our baskets; therefore any damaged shipments must be reported to us immediately. Be sure to keep all packaging as it may be requested by carrier.

We will make every effort to replace any damaged items and ensure your satisfaction. Unopened baskets may be returned within 5 working days with an authorization. Please call or email us to obtain authorization.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the recipient/buyer. Shipping and handling charges are non refundable. All merchandise must be returned in the original carton and in good condition. No credit can be issued until we receive the returned merchandise. We pride ourselves on fast service and shipping, therefore any cancellations must be made within 12 hours of order confirmation.We are not responsible for any order changes due to typographical or other errors on the part of the customer.

If we are in error, we will correct the error promptly by either refunding your money or sending another (corrected) order. Contact us immediately and notify us of any order errors at info@giftbasketsbymelissa.com.

Shipping Charges are non-refundable.


Shipping Policies 

Our primary shipping method is UPS ground. Rates are automatically calculated in the checkout process. All shipping rates are calculated by UPS tables. Please allow 1-5 business days for UPS ground delivery. We do not ship to Alaska & Hawaii.

Next day services are available for an additional charge. Call us if you would like next day, 2nd day, or any other required shipping needs. Please call us if you need expedited shipping.

Because of the summer heat, we are not able to ship chocolates starting in May. We will resume shipping chocolates in October.

Orders placed on Fridays & Weekends will not be processed until Monday. Orders placed on Holidays will not ship until next business day.  Your order will ship after it is processed, which can be up to 2 days from the time you order, depending on when (what time of day) the order was placed, and our existing obligations.
